Traditional homemade mint sauce is simple to make and a delicious accompaniment to lamb.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups champagne vinegar
  • 2/3 cup raw cane sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped mint leaves

Instructions

  1. In a small pot, bring vinegar and sugar to a boil. Turn heat down and simmer for 10 – 12 minutes, until volume is decreased by half. Cool to room temperature and add mint. Cover and let sit for at least an hour before serving. Can be made several hours in advance.
