- You can make this rice using a rice pot, just add the herbs after rice is done.
Minted lime & cilantro rice
Add some zip to your rice with a little fresh mint and lime. Its easy and it punches up the flavor of plain steamed rice.

Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cup jasmine rice
- 1 3/4 cups water
- Zest and juice from1 to 2 limes
- 2 T fresh chopped mint
- 2 T fresh chopped cilantro
Instructions
- Rinse your rice until the rinse water runs clear. Put rice, juice from 1 lime juice and water in a pot. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low and cover for 20 minutes. Turn off heat and remove pan from burner. Let sit and do not remove lid for 10 minutes.
- Stir in mint and cilantro. Taste and add more lime juice if desired.
